Suggest Treatment For Dizziness After Stopping Diltiazem

my dr. told me to stop taking Diltazem - I fell, was dizzy. When I stopped taking it, the first 2 days I wanted to stay in bed - no energy - weak. I saw on line that you should not stop taking it suddenly. Because of the holiday, I can t talk with the Dr. till Tues. Any advice

Hello,
Most importantly, you should get your blood pressure and checked, which may be deranged due to sudden stoppage. If bp and pulse rate are high then will need to restart it.
If these are normal then probably nothing serious and this should resolve in short period of time. This has got some central effects as well which may leads to this. However, you should keep track of bp and pulse rate.
