Suggest Treatment For Dizziness And Blurred Vision While Waking Up

When I stand up no matter how slow I get up I get extremely dizzy and my vision goes black for about a minute and I have to prop myself up on something this is followed by severe headaches that only last a minute also. I have also been getting nose bleeds alot I have a history of high blood pressure but lately it's only been around 119/83.

Hello,

One of the possibilities is that of postural hypotension which can cause dizziness. Due to the limbs being in the same position for long, there can be poor circulation of blood. When we change position, there is reduced blood to the brain, poor venous return from the limbs, causing dizziness. This causes blackouts and headache. This can occur even if the blood pressure is well controlled. Apart from getting up slowly it is better to avoid same posture for long and make sure that you move your limbs frequently to avoid pooling of blood.
