I have been feeling sluggish, tired, light headed. I don t feel like my normal self. It s been happening for a couple of weeks. I m taking vitamin supplements such as multi-vitamin, vitamins d, e, biotin, magnesium and currently on birth control. What do you think I m experiencing? Could it be pre-menopause?

Hi,

The most probable reasons for your symptoms may be one or a combination of the following:
Oral contraceptive pills being hormonal can cause such symptoms.
Stress and anxiety of life takes its toll in the same way.
Actual anemia, deficiency of vitamins, mineral and so on.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult your Doctor as he can examine you clinically and advise the blood tests as per his findings to find the cause and rectify.
Avoid stress and anxiety.
Change the lifestyle.
Healthy foods with lots of fruits help.
Discuss any other points with your Doctors which you feel can be the cause by giving full and actual history.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
