Suggest Treatment For Dizziness And Lightheadedness
Have been feeling dizzy and lightheaded for the past 2 months --have trace of blood in my urine --dr suspects that it might be a kidney stone - I do have history of kidney stones - will this ever pass? Could it be something else, such as heart? These symptoms have lasted way too long--thanks for your help
From your description, I am the opinion that you should undergo a USG and have an KUB x-ray done.
In the case of staghorn type of stone, surgery is the only option. In other types of kidney stones, Potassium citrate solution and lots of fluids are advised. You should do KFT also.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
