General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
The pain you are afraid of (heart problem) is mostly compressive in nature. Heart rate is moderately increased. In such condition this may or may not be cardiac in origin still considering possibility. Give 2 pills of geli dil to suck & one pill of proton pump inhibitor over the counter like Pan D & take him to cardiologist / ER to exclude heart problem(by ECG).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
