Suggest Treatment For Dizziness And Shortness Of Breath
I had an echocardiogram done the other day. Could hear what sound like normal blood flow sounds then would hear a sloshing noise . This occurred in three areas. Should I be concerned ? Have dizziness, shortness of breath, fatigue and yes I am a smoker.
As the blood passes through heart valves , there can sometimes be increased turbulent flow causes a change in the noises detected. Heart valves are located in 4 areas of the heart.
The technician and/or cardiologist would normally review the echo to determine if there are any abnormal changes that need to be treated.
Blood tests would also be needed to rule out anemia and low levels of thyroid hormones as possible causes of your symptoms.
I hope this helps
