Suggest Treatment For Dizziness And Spinal Stenosis
Have had dizziness from bending my neck back looking up, popping then real dizzy 2 weeks now. its not inner ear. I have stenosis of te spine really bad, it seems that my blood is not getting to my brain. have had carotid ultrasound and all was ok. what next nero or ENT?
I read carefully your question and would explain that a severe spinal canal stenosis can lead to your troubles.
You should know that the chronic degenerations of the cervical spine can lead to compression of the vertebral arteries during neck movements, thus leading to vertigo and dizziness. Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with a spinal surgeon to discuss about surgery for the decompression of the spinal canal. Meanwhile, I recommend holding a cervical collar. Hope to have been helpful! Wishing all the best, Dr. Aida
