Suggest Treatment For Dizziness, Headaches And Pain In Jaws
My friend has dialysis on Monday, Wed and Fridays and today is a Tuesday and he was outside when all of sudden from a sitting position he decided to stand up and he got really dizzy, a headache, he saw black and his jaw felt like it locked for a moment. What could be happening? Thank you in advance!
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of dizziness, headaches and pain in jaws. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like TMJ dislocation or locking, migraine, sinusitis or condition related to ear like meniere's disease.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult oral and maxillofacial surgeon once for proper examination. Doctor may order CT scan, or MRI to confirm the diagnosis. You should bring jaw back to normal relaxing position after moving from front position. Give joint physical therapy. For now avoid bending forward , do relaxing exercises like meditation and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
