Suggest Treatment For Dizziness, Nausea And Fainting Spells

My daughter is 24 years old. 3 years ago she had the gastric sleeve and has lost over 200 pounds. Last week she passed out, her head is congested, she is dizzy, feels nausea. She is having these symptoms for over a week. Her doctor does not know what is causing this. The ER docs told her she was dehydrated but she is constantly drinking water so we do not think it is that. Do you think she is missing some kind of vitamin deficiency from her stomach surgery? What do you think is causing this? Thank you for your time.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think she can be having hypoglycemia and electrolytes imbalance. She should check glucose fasting levels and blood electrolytes also she should do biochemical blood balance to see function of kidneys and liver.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
