Suggest Treatment For Dizziness When Diagnosed With Benign Vertigo
i was collpased last week and went to ER. i m getting better but my doctor told me to do some exercise at home layon left side then right side. i felt dizzy on my left size or turning my head left sideoften. in addition , when i woke up in the morning the dizzyness come back again even when i got up slowly. I needed to sit up for few minutes before i got up. they told me is a benign vertigo? will do more test this week coming up.

Yes, those exercises are good to helping with your dizziness and are in a way a from of treatment. So, I would recommend to continue with those. It is called Epley maneuver. You can watch videos online to see how it is best performed. Consider going to your doctor after one month to reassess symptom resolution. That kind of dizziness should not be treated with vestibular suppressant medications such as antihistamines or benzodiazepines. So, I would not recommend using any of these medicines.
