Suggest Treatment For Dizziness While Getting Up And High BP

After lying on my back, whether sleeping or on my yoga mat, I cannot get up without feeling I will fall down. Once I am up and moving around, I am okay. The heavy-headedness goes away after five minutes. My blood pressure is mildly elevated, but under control with Losartan.

Hi there...Sudden rising from a totally flat position,, like yoga map to the upright posture... can lead to a mild but sudden fall in blood pressure. Its called postural hypotension. Practise sitting up for a while, before becoming upright again. There is another Yoga remedy, one of my patients practised to keep this problem away, but i wouldnt say its advisable if your age is above 45 years. Sirsasana can help counter this, but not if you have never done it before...Take care...Its nice to hear the YOGA being practised by yourself.
