Suggest Treatment For Dizziness, lightheadedness And Nausea In A 15 Year Old Girl

Im a 15 year old girl and I keep having weird 30 - 60 second intervals where its like I m almost trying to remember some part of a dream, but when I think about it, I get really dizzy, lightheaded, and nauseous. This happens to me approx. twice a day and has been happening for almost 2 months. Do you have any idea what it could be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would suggest you to undergo urine pregnancy test assuming you have started to menstruate. That is the first test to consider in female of reproductive age group. If urine pregnancy test comes negative; other possible causes include anemia, ear infections, vertigo to list a few.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ayesha Shareef, General & Family Physician
