Suggest Treatment For Dizzy, Light Headed And Nausea
Hello, Recently I ve been feeling dizzy, light headed and very nauseous. I ve even felt like I was going to faint at one point and had thrown up on the train. I have been sexually active in the past month but I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. Could you please help me.
Since you have been sexually active, though your pregnancy test is negative, yet you are having symptoms of early pregnancy and can be pregnant. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynecologist, get per vaginal examination done to detect bulky uterus.
Get USG (uterus and fallopian tube) done to detect ectopic pregnancy or to detect the well being and gestational age of the fetus if pregnant. You may be asked to do a repeat pregnancy test done with the first morning mid stream urine. You will be managed accordingly. In the meantime, avoid doing heavy work, stay at rest. Take adequate amount of fluids and water. Take at least 8 hrs sleep and home made food. Avoid addictions if any.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
