Suggest Treatment For Drug Addiction

Hi doctor!

My Brother is a drug addict since last 10 years. he is not into family, hits my father, mother, wants money all the time.he is in a bad company,doesnot stay at home.

how far has he gone in his addiction. my father put him in rehabilitation center but still after he came out he said to me that i will take revenge for putting me in rehabilitation center. i dont know what to do and how to help him get out

plz help doctor.... suggest a strong option what we can do.

Drug addiction require multimodalities approach.

Indoor treatment is must. Treatment is depend upon on type of addiction and substance that he takes.

Drug addiction is associated with psychological illness and need to asses his mental status for proper treatment.

Only rehabilitation can not help.

Psychological counseling and treatment, detoxification, motivational counseling with rehab are the steps to stop drug addiction.

So consult psychiatrist and De addiction center near by for multifactorial approach toward his addiction.
