Suggest Treatment For Dry And Itchy Skin On Side Of Vulva

I have a really bad itch on one side of my vulva, the skin is dry and almost calloused, slightly swollen and quiet red. not itchy on the inside, I think the itch is from scratching the dry skin. very very uncomfortable, what could this be!?!? I m not sexually active. and it s ONLY on the left side. right side is completely normal!! I ve tried treating it for yeast, nothing. I apply aveeno baby eczema relief cream and baby powder to keep the itching at bay, but this is required many many times a day. I m so uncomfortable and extremely self conscious. please help :(

I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.

Vaginal Itching & dryness can result from many conditions like
- Irritation to the chemicals in cosmetics or hair removal creams etc
- having unsafe sex causing Bacterial vaginosis &. Yeast infection, STD's
- Skin diseases like eczema, psoriasis
- Stress.

I advice you to take a full course of antibiotics (flagyl), antihistamines for a week & avoid any irritation causing cosmetics.
