General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely balanoposthitis. This can be due to fungal and bacterial infection. In such case i would suggest combination of antifungal like terbinafine , antibacterial like ofloxacin and corticosteroid like clobetasol for local application. Lamisil has only terbinafine. If there is no improvement then a consultation with dermatologist is well appreciated. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
