Suggest Treatment For Dry Cough And Lower Back Ache
Hi I ve had a cold and dry cough for 4 weeks cold has gone and cough is going but I have a constant ache in my lower back and sometimes in my ribs and in and out the day I feel hot and then cold been sleeping a lot im58yrs I am a smoker not heavy but I know it s not good I m been trying to give it up for years I do get a lot of chest infections through the winter
It is unusual for a chest common cold / flu to last for 4 weeks. The associated tiredness, hot / cold feeling and body aches might suggests an ongoing chest infection. Kindly consult your doctor. After examining the chest, you may be asked for a blood routine and X-ray of chest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
