Suggest Treatment For Dry Cough And Pain In The Chest And Upper Back
I have had a cough for over three weeks now but it isn t continuous over the day. It s mostly dry except for a kind of grazing feeling/sound that makes my chest area smart. The urge is from the chest rather than the throat. I also get chest/upper back pain from time to time, but again not continuous and not too intense. When the cough started out I didn t feel bad at all but now I find I m sleepy most of the time.
The cough may be due to viral infection or allergies or irritants. Due to continuous cough lead to intercostal and abdominal muscles spasm so lead to pain.
Avoid cool drinks and freeze water. Avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling and tablet azithromycin for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your physician he will take a chest x-ray and treat you accordingly.
