Hi,
I am sorry for the situation you are going through.
Your symptoms of:
- weird dry cough
- with
wheezing and feeling like can't breath for several moments
are due to asthma you've been diagnosed recently.
If the coughing is severe, you finish throw up due to spasms to the GI tract during the heavy coughing.
The presence of clear phlegm/mucus like substance are commonly occurring in asthmatic patients.
However, bacterial infection of upper
respiratory tract infection should be considered too. A good clinical examination and culture of sputum for bacterial and
fungal infection are recommended.
If confirmed, antibiotics or antifungals should be started as per the culture and sensitivity testing results.
For the moment, I can suggest to continue taking asthma medications as recommended by your doctor.
I advise to take
mucolytic drugs to dissolve phlegm (e.g carbocystein or N-acetyl-
cysteine). That will help ease the coughing too.
Wish fast recovery.
