I am 28 weeks pregnant now.I have dry cough.I consulted physician.He gave me Ventolin inhaler.but cough is still there.My gynecologist now gave me antibiotic Daroxime 500 (Cefuroxime) & Desloratidine. I am taking it now.But still cough is there.what should I do now?
Hello dear I understand your concern Dry cough could be due to allergic/viral bronchitis. You can add following medicine and continue treatment provided by your doctor: Take Cough syrup containing guaifenesin and dextromethorphan (Q tussin CF): 10 ml three times a day -Drink plenty of lukewarm water -Steam inhalation 3-4 times a day -Strepsil throat lozenges (neem and honey flavor):take every 3 hourly -Avoid cold beverages and exposure to pollutants Hope this may help you
