Suggest Treatment For Dry Eyes And Muscle Dystrophy

I have a cousin who is 59 and has adult muscular dystrophy and has severely dry eyes and is using gel eye drops and I am on Restastis for dry eyes as I live in the desert here in Palm Springs where we have a drought and almost everyone has dry eyes. First question, would Restastis be a good drug for Jonny to use and when using Restasis is it necesessary to use gel drops all day with it. I use the gel in a tube..Systene before I go to bed after the Restasis but I must go right to sleep because you aren t able to see. I just worry that it is doing something to the effects of the Restastasis. Jonny cannot afford the Restasis and it is very expensive for me as I am retired and it costs me almost $400 a month with my Wellcare insurance paying just $19 a month. I was going to send Jonny some of mine to see if it will help him and share it with him as he is in very bad shape. I would appreciate if you know the answers to these questions especially about the gel drops all day and the Restasis really working with just one drop in the morning and one in the evening with the Systene gel in a tube over it.
