General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Acute abdominal pain can occur due to appendicitis, diverticulitis or renal stones. Urinary tract infection could be the cause if burning micturition occurs. Complete blood counts, abdominal ultrasound, liver function tests and urine analysis should be done to identify the cause.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
