Suggest Treatment For Dry Spots On Stomach, Hips And Thigh
Hi, I ve been noticing spots on my stomach, breast, under my breast, and my hips i don t know if they re dry spots or not cause i do have bad skin but its been a long time since my skin started breaking out but these spots are itchy i don t know if i need cream or what. Also, I ve also noticed these little bumps between my thighs they don t itch or hurt it sit there and turn into a permit spot
The spots may be due fungal infection like tinea versicolor. Tinea infections can cause hypo or hyper-pigmented patches on the body which can cause scaling or itching. Anti-fungal drugs like Miconazole can be locally applied to reduce infection. Avoid excess sweat which can increase the infection. Personal hygiene should also be maintained.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
