Suggest Treatment For Dryness And Itchiness Under The Lips
Hello , my daughter is 4 years old and has been having trouble with her lips such as dryness, itchiness under lips and on lips, and I have tried aquaphor on her lips, other lip chaps. I wanted to know if there was something stronger I could put on there to help with itchiness and dryness. I really think it s eczema on her lips, dark spots on her lips and feel like sandpaper in spots on her lips

Dryness and itching over lips in this age group is most commonly due to habit of lip licking.
The best treatment for this to keep the lips moisturized by:
1) repeated application of lip balm
2) drinking plenty of water
3) using a humidifier in the home
Habit of lip licking if present should be avoided.
