Suggest Treatment For Dull Neck Pain When Diagnosed With A Cervical Herniated Disc
I have been diagnosed with cervical herniated discs, c3-7. No major issues until last week, very sore dull throbbing at the base of my neck. Pain into my right armpit/ biceps area. On a 1-10 scale at about an 8. I see my dr tomorrow, Anything I can do now?
Hello dear I understand your concern Cervical herniated disc cause compression of the nerve and cause pain in the neck, shoulder and arm I would suggest to consult the orthopaedic surgeon and undergo MRI scan for better management. Doctor will provide following advises: Tab gabapin NT Tablet methyl cobalamin Wear soft cervical collar Physiotherapy and immobilisation will helpful
But at present you can take over the counter available pain killer like DAN -MR or ibuprofen containing drug three times a day after meal Apply warm pad application, do not keep head in same position for long time. Hope this may help you Contact HCM for further health query Best regards Dr. Sagar
