Suggest Treatment For Dull Pain In The Abdomen

I have been having a dull pain in my upper left abdomen and the last couple of days sometimes when I bend over I get a sharp pain in that area. I can bend over 5 times and it only hurts 1 out of the 5 times. My stools seem normal but I have had more than normal heartburn. I am overweight and have some high sugar.I sleep on my left side in a twisted postion because I have a bad knee so I thought maybe that could be it but I have slept like that for a couple of years.

Hello,

Because the pain is worse on movement and it is a sharp pain in the area when you bend over then very likely it is a muscular pain.
You can try to take paracetamol and ibuprofen to help with it for a few days. If no improvement then you will need to see a doctor and have you examined to make sure the spleen is ok and other organs in the area like the stomach and bowel.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,
