Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I have light dull pain on right side of throat . I feel something in my throat , when I swallow something it stuck and then pass down . I can feel right ear full of wax, as when I swallow my saliva. I feel sound in my ear . I have had history of tonsil stone on the same side a 2 years ago. But it went away bi itself. I am really scared.
We differentiate the cause through routine blood counts with throat examination, pharyngoscopy to rule out non infective causes.
Therefore it is advisable to see the doctor. Preferably you must see ENT specialist for complete medical history including history of sensitivity to antibiotics and thoroughly clinical examination.
You might require antibiotics (to prevent superinfection if cause is viral) with analgesics, antiinflammatories, decongestants and nebulization with steam inhalation.
Foe excess wax deposition in ear,you can use soliwax ear drops to remove wax.
In the meanwhile you can start warm salt water gargles.
