Suggest Treatment For Ear Discharge

HI there, I think I ruptured my ear drum? I have the feeling of water in my ear and sometimes it feels like the ear is draining. I did an exercise class this week and felt nausiated after the class. I was at a dance and the music was too loud. Many others commented on the volume. I play bagpipes and tomorrow I have a concert. Should I be playing the bagpipes?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
NO, if you have a ruptured ear drum, its ideal not to blow air as it would force all the bacteria from your throat into the middle ear. If there is ear discharge, then you will have to be started on antibiotics.
