Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection And Strep Throat
my 3 year old has an ear infection, strep throat and a sinus infection. he is currently on amoxocillian. he can t breath through his nose, it s all stuffed up. he starts to breath through his mouth and then forgets or something and jumps up because he can t breath. it s only at night. why? what can i do?
It is quite normal to have breathing problems in a child of this age. This is because he may have increased size of adenoids, due to inflammation related to the strep infection. For this reason, I would recommend trying inhalation (aerosols) with steroids besides antibiotics or an anti-histamine for allergic reaction.
