Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection In Baby

my 2 year old has had several ear infecitons and was on 2 different antibiotics durring the month of april: first augmetin then bactrim now that he has been off abx for 10 days he has started again only during the night screaming with ear aches and it takes several hours to get him to settle down. His pediatrician states he doesnt want to go with tubes as of yet! What do I do? Karen

I suggest you to get culture senstivity of ear swab done,so that exact organism can be identified and treatment can be done accordingly.
