Suggest Treatment For Ear Pain And Pressure

Yes I have a very painful ear ache i feel pressure and fluid like feeling i m cleaing it out 3 times a day with Hydrogen peroxide and using pain relieving ear drops but i had this for atleast 2 days now. what can i do to make it easier on me till i see my doctor

Hi Dear,

As per your query you have severe ear pain and pressure which is because of ear infection leading to otitis media.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you consult an ENT specialist for proper diagnosis. The doctor will examine by otoscope to check the level of infection and prescribe antibiotics (amoxicillin or penicillin) at least for 10 days along with anti-inflammatory medications. Till then avoid pricking ear with any sharp object. Put otogesic ear drops. Apply warm compresses.
