Suggest Treatment For Ear Pain And Soreness In The Cheek Bone

back in September I received my flu shot, that same night I woke up with a bad ear ache (right side) and since then I have had sorness on my right cheek bone even when I try chewing my food.
Should I be concerned.
I also have virtigo and if I don't take allergy tablets at least twice a week, then I get light headed.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain the symptoms of pain in ear and cheek can be due to ear infection along with sinusitis..
It can be co-incidental that it is coinciding with the day of flu shot..
Vertigo can be due to causes like Meniere's Disease, Benign peroxysmal postural vertigo, disorders associated to central nerous system etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a clinical examination and otoscopy of ear ans PNS view x ray of sinuses can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
You can be advised a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers, antibiotic and pain relieving ear drops, decongestant nasal sprays, saline nasal irrigations, steam inhalation and using a humidifier in your room..
Avoiding sudden jerky movements of head and taking medications like Meclizine, diazepam etc after advise from physician can help in vertigo..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
