Hi,
Noted your history of yellow nasal discharge, pain in left ear, lightheaded,
whooping cough but no fever, no chill.
Your history is obviously indicating towards infective pathology converting the nasal discharge yellow, pain in the said area.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation,
Endoscopy to know the cause and get investigated as follows:
CT scan of
sinuses is a must.
Tests of blood for CBC, sugar, kidney functions.
All this will lead to a proper diagnosis and thus allow proper management.
This may be in the form of an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and decongestant medicines.
Topical decongestant nasal drops.
Bed rest and steam inhalation.
Rest of the treatment as per the cause found.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
