Over a year ago I had left ear pain and it felt like my ear was clogged. I went to an ENT who did a hearing test, put a scope down my nose into my throat, tried drops and several antibiotics and anti-inflammatories with no relief. I stopped going because I couldn t afford it and they diagnosed me with left ear pain to my primary physician. I was also having dizzy spells, which have seemed to stop but I still have the clogged ear feeling and can hear a pulsating sound, only in my left ear. Everytime I have gotten a cold in the past year it is worst in my left ear and left side of my throat. Please tell me what to do to make the noise stop.
I think it is clogged ear causing the noise. Take cinarizine and vertigo supplement containing gingko biloba and vitamin B 12,6,1. Sometimes spondylo-arthrosis of the neck can also cause such noise. Do massage the neck area, and apply local analgesic cream. If there is still no improvement, you should check out with ENT specialist again.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
