Hi

Welcome in HCM.

I understand your concern and it appears as your wife is having acute otitis media. Though for making diagnosis thorough examination of ear is must but as per your clinical history there may be perforation in ear drum.

So I would like to suggest her for-

1- Keep ear clean and dry.

2- Please don't put any ear drop in ear.

3- Take antibiotic (preferably broad spectrum)

4- Tab Paracetamol.

5- Anti-histaminic.

6- Steam inhalation.

Probably above will solve your problem.

Thanks for consulting HCM.
