Suggest Treatment For Ear Rocks

My sister says she was dizzy and disoriented for about a week. An ENT specialist diagnosed her problem as ear rocka. I never heard of such a thing, but she says the dr. told her that it is very common -- several cases a month have been treated in his office. Any info?? Thanks.
