Suggest Treatment For Earache And Fever Along With Red And Swollen Tonsils
I have had a earache in both ears. Went away in one of them. Been running a low grade fever. And my tonsils are extremely red and swollen and completely covered in white. But throat doesn t hurt real bad. Have been taking a zpack since Monday but doesn t seem to be getting any better
Hello dear I appreciate your concern This could be due to throat infection may be due to bacteria or viral infection leading to tonsillitis
Zpack is good antibiotics but that works only in presence of bacterial infection
I would advise you to consult an ENT surgeon for examination and a battery of tests like CBC and throat swab for culture
Do gargling with warm saline water or antiseptic mouthwash have lukewarm water to drink Avoid cold and icy substances. Have multivitamin supplements like vitamin C
I hope you will find my response helpful and informative follow up questions are most welcome regards
