Suggest Treatment For Ecchymosis On The Back Of The Legs

I have a large pattern of ecchymosis on the back of both of my thighs. It literally goes from the where my inseem for my pants lays to the place where the outside seem would be. it does not go past my knee nor does it go up to where my underwear lays. it is purple and bluish in nature but is not painful what so ever. the skin seems to look a little dry. I live in a very cold climate, but I went to the local clinic and they said it wasn t frostbit. I have not fallen nor have I had anything like this in the past. There also seems to be some swelling.
