General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Eczema in your 3 months old baby could be due to allergy, exposure to irritants or can be seen in families. I advice you to:
- Apply moisturising cream (cetaphil), twice daily immediately after giving bath to the baby or before the skin dried up completely.
- Also use topical steroid creams (fluticasone)
- Note: apply steroid first & then the moisturiser
- Do not apply strong irritating ointments
- Avoid contact of skin with woollen clothes
- Allergy if any, add antihistamines

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician
