Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

The white blood cell count of 30,800 per cmm is quite high, normal upper limit being 10,000 per cmm. High white blood count may be seen in cases of infection or leukemia / neoplasm. I suggest you to post the result of differential blood count and peripheral blood smear examination report.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
