Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I tried setting a doc appt because my sugar is 300 to 348 and im not feeling well and the nurse told me oh thats not bad. so Im asking advice. the history of my health has been good, I had been around 98 to 114 so i droped some ponds eating healthy cutting sugar out of my lifestyle. But have been put under some stress lately.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern. Elevated blood glucose levels of 300 to 348 mg/dl are very dangerous . They may cause severe problems like diabetic coma, ketoacidosis etc. You should not take them lightly, these will not just correct by dietary precautions. You should rush to a general physician. he might give you insulin to lower the blood glucose levels. He would also adjust the dose of glucose lowering drugs in future too.
Refer to your physician hope this helps
