Suggest Treatment For Elevated Creatinine Levels And Recurrent UTI
Dear Sir, My brother-in-law has been suffering from recurrent UTI since 1 year 2-3 times. Last he was admitted 1 month ago. At that time creatinine level was high and after some medication it came to 2.2 then now it is 2.6. Here doctor tells me that creatinine level cannot be lowered. I would like to get your suggestion is the disease curable or not. Kind regards, Manoj Dash (Patient s age 40, sex male)
Yes, it can be lowered down by changing lifestyle and dietary changes. He should avoid taking nephrotoxic drugs if taking any. He should walk in the morning and after meals as much as he can. Avoid taking much salt. Should eat boiled vegetables. Less intake of sugar. This will definitely help him. Creatinine should be checked every month for first 2 months followed by 3 monthly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
