Hello and welcome to HCM,
Gall stones do not cause elevated liver enzymes.
Uf the gall stones are symptomatic causing indigestion or pain abdomen, you need to get the gall bladder removed surgically.
Elevation of liver enzymes occurs due to damage to the liver cells or hepatocytes.
A history of hepatitis previously can be the cause of elevated liver enzymes.
What was the cause of hepatitis?
In case hepatitis was infectious in origin, a HBsAg needs to be done to assess the presence of hepatitis B infection.
In addition, other liver function test also need to be known for better assessment of liver functions.
In case liver enzymes are elevated in isolation without increase in other liver enzymes, then damage to the hepatocytes is occurring without any effect on other parts of biliary tract.
Consult your gastroenterologist for further work up.

Thanks and take care
