General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You should be concerned because very high triglycerides can sometimes cause or be associated with pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas).

Some of the causes of increased triglycerides are--(1)obesity
(2)hypothyroidism- low levels of thyroid hormones
(3)genetic
(4)diabetes
(5)high carbohydrate diet
(6)kidney disease
(7)side effect of medication
(8)excess alcohol use

I hope this helps
