Suggest Treatment For Embedded Tick Behind The Ear
My daughter had a tick embedded behind her ear and my neighbor tried to take it out, I used a pair of tweezers and pulled out what I could see, I am not sure if the head came out or not...I washed the area with hot soapy water and the alcohol.....should I take her to her pediatrition? Tomorrow Thank you
Hello thanks for writing to HCM. I read and understand your question very well. I try my level best to explain you.
As you said that you have not sure that head of tick came out or not. You wash the area with hot soapy area and alcohol. So it is good and act as an disinfectant. But you are not sure so i suggest you to consult a good pediatrician for this. So it is always better to consult a doctor when you are not sure. So if any complication occur due to this is preventable.
I hope my answer will help you alot. Thanks and Regards. Dr Vijay
