Suggest Treatment For Enlarged Prostate And Severe Pain

My father in law was hospitalized last month due to severe stomach pain,he was diagnosed with H.poly..he was discharged then with only antibiotics to take..now he s back to the hospital because the pain was nt relieved..his ultrasound showed 110g enlargement of prostate..and the doctors also want to check his pacreas..nd his PSI if not mistaken is high..what does it mean?this is getting complicated...thank you

Hello,

For h. Pylori infection antibiotic containing kit only is prescribed for 14 days. So your doctor was right in that way.

But as you have not been improved, pancreatitis should be ruled out by CT scan or USG scan.

Prostate enlargement usually doesn't lead to abdominal pain. It can be treated with medication.
