Suggest Treatment For Enlargement In Liver
My son who is 13 years old has been diagnosed with an enlarged liver. The hepatitis tests have come back negative and the one mono test is negative. We are waiting on one more Mono test to come back. What else would cause a viral infection that enlarges the liver?

-sgpt and sgot estimation
-hbsag detection
-anti hcv detection
-serum bilirubin
For hemolytic anemia work up done with...
-Peripheral smear examination
-retic count
-LDH estimation
If needed hb electrophoresis done to rule out hemoglobinopathy if present... Like thalasemia also can lead this...
