Suggest Treatment For Esophageal, Chest, And Stomach Pain When Diagnosed With Anorexia

Okay, so I ve been at my worst with Anorexia for over 2 years now. I m 19, 5 8, and I got down to 94lbs before being taken to the hospital due to breathing problems, and pretty much everything starting to shut down. I was put into recovery, but it was only a short-term facility, so I was there short of a week. I relapsed about a month ago, and things are quickly going downhill again. i was up to 145lbs, but I m pretty sure I m now around 130. I haven t weighed myself in a couple of days because I m out of town. I m having a lot of esophageal pain, chest pain, and stomach pain--mostly in the ULQ. My light-headedness is quickly getting worse again, and my heart rate was at 35 the other day. I have a personal Dr., but I would rather know what the likely imbalances are in my body so I can correct them. I m already keeping up electrolytes, potassium, and calcium for my heart. So I m not sure of the causes of my heart-pain... other than muscle weakness. I m staying hydrated, but I m over-exercising, and eating less than 150 calories a day for the past week. I m more looking to prolong the inevitable, rather than to go back into recovery.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I have gone through your question and understand your concern. Anorexia nervosa is a life threatening mental illness and need serious attention. Recovery unit will give you only symptomatic treatment and will not help in treating the cause of condition. Exercising to excess is classified as restricting type of anorexia.
Consult a psychiatrist, getting the problem treated by a professional will the best approach to the problem. Few ways to tackle the condition by yourself are: talking to someone who will support you as you try to get better, admit you have problem to yourself and face it by fighting your own thoughts, avoid looking at fashion magazines and runway model as it will only create the false perception of perfection in your mind. Good luck. Hope your concern is answered. Thank you.
