Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your mother has esophageal cancer. Treatment and survival rate depends on stage, type and grade of cancer. In early stage surgery is useful. In late stage chemotherapy and radiotherapy are the only treatment options and despite of treatment prognosis is poor. Consult your doctor and plan accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
