Hi, Swallowed hot food, drink, may cause the thermal injury to oesophagus condition. May not need any specific treatment but care need to be taken for further eating or swallowing hot food for a drink. Have a more cold drink, cold milk on tentative basis local anaesthetic containing antacid can be tried. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
